One in four young people British Columbia have been the victims of cyberbullying and almost one in five say they have bullied others online themselves.
Almost 80 per cent say people bully others online because it’s easier than carrying out the practice in person and 70 per cent figure they’ll never get caught.
These are among the findings of Microsoft’s Canada and Youthography Internet safety survey, released today, the day declared by the BC government as anti-bullying day.
The survey found Canada’s youth are confident they know about online dangers yet a large percentage of them will reveal personal information that could put them at risk from cyber predators. Read Entire Article
