Internet Safety Events
Spreading the word about Internet Safety got some help from the St. Louis Cardinals and the Kansas City Chiefs, when INOBTR hosted Internet Safety Days.
June 7th, 2007 The Cardinals took on the Cincinnati Reds where INOBTR celebrity spokesperson, Nick Lachey threw out the first pitch. The Cardinals also featured the INOBTR message throughout the game with message board announcements and Nick Lachey on both radio and TV. Cards fans under 16 also received a Cardinals/INOBTR baseball cap and a souvenir card featuring safety tips.
October 14th, 2007 The Chiefs took on the Cincinnati Bengals where INOBTR celebrity spokesperson, Nick Lachey was honorary coin toss captain. The Chiefs also featured the INOBTR message with message board announcements and a postcard that was distributed to all fans featuring safety tips and a chance to win Chiefs and Lachey memorabilia. INOBTR's activities at the game were sponsored by Chiefs star running back Larry Johnson and LJ's Legacy & Growth Youth Foundation. This is just the beginning for a partnership between Larry Johnson's foundation, the star himself and INOBTR!
| INOBTR is extremely grateful to both the St. Louis Cardinals and the Kansas City Chiefs, especially Larry Johnson, for their hospitality and joining the fight to help keep kids safe online. |
