The INOBTR BenefitBar

You can help raise money for INOBTR when you search the Internet!

INOBTR has teamed with BenefitBar to create a unique fundraising tool you can download today, for free, that will help raise funds for the INOBTR campaign. It’s called the INOBTR BenefitBar, a toolbar designed for use on any PC (home, office, etc.). The toolbar includes links to the INOBTR web site, a Yahoo search engine, a scrolling message window and other great resources to help keep Missouri kids safe online.

The toolbar is simple to use and serves two purposes:

1. Any time you use the Yahoo search engine on the INOBTR BenefitBar, INOBTR will receive a small amount of money - the more Yahoo searches you conduct, the more INOBTR benefits.

2. The toolbar’s scrolling message, which is automatically updated on your computer, will keep you up to date on the latest INOBTR news and events.

There is no cost involved to the user or to INOBTR to download the INOBTR BenefitBar, so share this unique toolbar with anyone who wants to support Internet safety. Click on the following link to install the INOBTR BenefitBar, using the directions below as a guide for easy set-up:

Important: THE TOOLBAR HAS NO ADWARE, SPYWARE, POPUPS or TRACKING.

To download the benefit bar:

1.        Close all other applications.
2.        Click on the link above.
3.        Check the box to accept terms (if you do) and click "Download Now" button.
4.        A security notice may pop up in your toolbar. If so, click "Click here for options" at end of bar and then click "Download File".
5.        IF a dialog box asking you to retry pops up, click "Retry" button.
6.        When dialog box asks if you want to "Run (or ‘Open)", Save or Cancel; click the "Run (or 'Open)" button.
7.        IF another dialog box opens with Run option, click "Run" again.
8.        Read the Setup Wizard window, then click "Install".
9.        In the next window, click "Finish".
10.   Now close out of Internet Explorer and then reopen it.
11.     Go to the View menu on the top toolbar. Choose Toolbars.

Check ‘INOBTR’. Note: you may turn the toolbar off by un-checking this item.

PLEASE NOTE: IF the toolbar does not appear (or is located way off to the right) the next time you open Internet Explorer, you may have to go to View menu, choose Toolbars, uncheck ‘INOBTR’, then repeat to again check ‘INOBTR’. (Or you can click and hold the vertical, dotted dividing bar and drag it down to the next line.) If you need assistance please contact BenefitBar at support@benefitbar.com.

Are you interested in using such a toolbar for your company or organization? The beneficiary of such a toolbar must be a nonprofit-organization, such as INOBTR. But if you are interested in having a BenefitBar created for your business, and would like to designate INOBTR as the recipient, we would love to explore a partnership with you.
